Default I got a free laptop!!
My mom had an "old" Gateway 450 laptop lying around, and she said that if I could fix it I could have it! I opened it up and reseated the RAM, and now it works perfectly!

Fried the proc so I replaced the proc and it fried that one too. Now it has gone to the big electronics graveyard.

I don't know what caused it. I cleaned everything when I put the new proc in and it ran for about 20 min. then I shut it off and when I restarted it the proc went. Toshiba with a 2.4 celeron so I don't think it ran all that hot.
