I am a daddy (again)

I had disappeared for the past 4 days due to my second daughter being born.... the hospital cots sucked, the TV barely worked, and the Wendys/Subway food downstairs (right in the hospital) got old after the second day.

Anyways heres the specifics:

Brenley Faith
8lbs 8.6oz
21 inches
Born Dec 28

She was born with a cleft lip which we knew of at 24 weeks into the pregnancy so it was not a surprise but what was a big surprise is that the pallet was not affected at all. She may need some dental work on 1 or 2 teeth up front there but everything is completely cosmetic.
I am tired so it may take a week or two to get back into the swing of things here.



She is aggravated in this pic because of the camera flashes but otherwise she is a calm and sweet girl already.

Congrats Screwbie! The cleft doesn't look bad at all, especially if it didn't effect the palate and lower nasal area. A bit of minor touch up surgery looks like it could easily fix that, any plans to have it done?

yes we figure around 3-6 months of age will get the lip done... and the gum may be a year or so old... it will be before she even knows it was there.

Congrats man, I didn't even know you were pregnant. Girls are great until they are teenagers (I know I have two teenage daughters) so enjoy her while you can.
