Thumbs up I am closer to being debt-free!

I am now one step close towards being debt-free, after paying off $1,100 in credit card debt yesterday. According to my financial program, I shall be completely free of debt by December 31, 2008!

I am very pleased, as I am also getting new glasses in seven to ten days. I also bought $82.47 in books today, and paid off Justin, my web designer.

Wish I could say the same but not looking to get out of debt for a while now.
Most of it is on the house remodel but with a 1% loan not much interest being paid on it over a years time. Credit card debt is going way down as only use in an emergency now.

Congrats on the acomplishment! Looks to me like you have set some goals and are sticking to them.

Eliminating credit card debt is a major step in getting ahead of the curve.

Yeah, but in the long run investing in your home should pay off. Granted with things as they are now it will take some time but in the long run (and I am sure you have time) the housing market will turn around and the investment in home renovation will pay off. We started major renovations in 2007 that continue today:

The Big Dig

Fortunately we had the cash to cover things.

Overall, beat down and eliminate the credit card debt!

Ron

Congrats. Having a bunch of debts is never really fun.

I'm debt free, actually people even owe me money. It's good to be a kid (albeit a bit old I have to agree). Thanks to mom and dad still giving me a place to live and letting me try my numerous business projects eh! Talking about it, I have to get outta here soon, wouldn't want to be a PITA for them.

If there is a final hour, let's hope for a higher power. One by one, and two by two, I have ammo, what about you?
