Ah no, but I missed out on a lot of sleep, ate crappy food, and didn't shower for 4 days.

I actually liked going to the field. Of course, I didn't have a compy back then (CMDR 64 wasn't really a comp), so going to the field was cool. Plus side being that we got to watch and feel 155's impacting on (or near) TGT.

Oh, and those Green Eggs out of the Mermites(sp)??? I guess you could call those crappy. LOL

I have been able to avoid the field for the past 2 years. I don't mind the field just have gotten out of the mind frame.

I am in a MLRS unit now, so watching the rockets is pretty cool. Yes the food is a lot better now then it used to be. Since Iraq I can't eat MRE's without gagging. I have lost my appetite for MRE's after eating them 2-3 times a day for a year straight.

if you came to the IZ nowadays you'd be in heaven. no IBA, ACH/Kevlar, outstanding chow, decent px, hadji marts, its not bad at all here
