Default Huckabee

Apparently Huckabee thinks there's not enough religion in the constitution and wants to amend it to gods standard.
Think Progress » Huckabee: ‘amend the Constitution’ to ‘God’s standards.’

I'm going to the caucus here Saturday......I'll be supporting John McCain. I looked at all the GOP candidates, and felt McCain is really the only sane one.

Well, if Huckleberry becomes president, I'm going to convince my parents to move to Canada. Always liked the canucks.

An even better reason to vote for him. If everyone that said that every time a Republican President got elected this would be a much better country.

What he said is no more absurd then Obama thinking he can pull troops out of Iraq 60 days after taking office. These guys are saying what they think the voters that they are talking to at the time, want to hear. It's Politics, not reality, big difference.

I have no problems with Republicans. Far from it actually. But isn't state and religion supposed to be separate? And wouldn't Huckabee doing this to the Constitution completely ruin that way of thinking? And what about "freedom of religion?" Not everybody believes in God yet they are still made to follow "God's standards?"

Just some things to think about.

EDIT: Just saw what you edited into your post, Joe, and that makes a lot more sense.

Huckabee is a wolf in sheeps clothing. I would love to see a genuine Christian in office like Reagan.

But a religious zealot who is full of lies and liberal policy is simply dangerous.

I don't know if Thompson is a Christian ... but he has heart and Character and solid clear thinking policy that is very consistent and doesn't sway with every wind.
