| Now don't get me wrong...I'm not bringing this up just to "talk about the weather", but to express a bit of concern. Let's see, here we are in the middle of March, when the weather here outside L.A. should be cool at best, and downright cold at worst. We should be having cool/cold temps with rain or fog or whatever. Actually, it should be like that in most places. But instead, we have been having temps in the 90's for the past few days with no end in sight. I don't wanna call it a heatwave, per se, but it makes you wonder. My wife, who gets cold very easily, doesn't even wear a jacket when we go out lately. So, what's the deal? Makes me wonder if Al Gore doesn't have a point with the information he laid out in his movie. It shouldn't BE this hot right now. But with more and more evidence coming out supporting Global Warming, I have to wonder if we won't start celebrating Christmas with summer weather like they do in Austrailia! And good ole' Santa will need to drop the red suit and go with shorts, ![]() Seriously...90+ in the middle of March sucks! If it's not fixed, then don't broke it! |

| It was 81 today, and it's dropping in the next few down to the high 60's. It's pretty normal weather for the Gulf Coast region. |

| Call it a heat wave, its hard to prediect the weather 10 days from now. It has suddenly gotten unseasonably warm though here as well, got into the 80's (usually only around 75). Tommorrow it will be 84 but then decline sharply with a cool front moving through. Intel Core 2 Duo E6420 Conroe @ 2.80GHz Cooler Master GeminII - Thanks Rich and HL! | Got up to 72 today, but felt cooler on account of the famous Kansas 'breezes'. Last two days have been intoxicatingly awesome. | 76 here today and it's usually in the 40's this time of year. But there are times we have unusually warm periods for a short time. |

| Colonel Calamity | ZZZzzzzz sorry this is a normal part of the Earth, heating and cooling of the earth...takes about 20,000 years to go from ice age peak to heat peak... we still have 2-3000 years to reach the peak of this heat wave.. man has had maybe 0.0000000001% of a difference ![]() Thanks HL and Corsair! So quit bragging! :P I think it got up to a balmy +2 C today, and then it dumped about 3 inches of snow on my head. P4 2Ghz, soyo dragon2 mobo, 3x256 pc3200, radeon 9200 128Mb, pioneer 4x cd/dvd combo, 40G + 80G Hdds, pinnacle firewire, onboard sound, 35W psu | |
