|  Hope for Capper "I found a pretty crazy article today titled "Scientists Make Fruit Flies Gay, Then Straight Again", and it's actually a really interesting read! Here's an excerpt from it:" "While several studies find homosexuality in humans and other animals is biological rather than learned, a question remains over whether it's a hard-wired phenomenon or one that can be altered. A new study finds that both drugs and genetic manipulation can turn the homosexual behavior of fruit flies on and off within a matter of hours." HFC Media: Is There a Possibility of a "Gay Gene"?   |

| Colonel Calamity  | Re: Hope for Capper That is something that has been known for as long as there have been gays, it is a choice, not genetics. In almost all cases, there is a brain malfunction that alters what the body senses as a "sexual" scent and can be switched as this study shows. This may be a new era of "fixing" the gay disease as some may call it.  Thanks HL and Corsair! My opinions are my own and not representative of this site or its members.  |
