Have you ever wished that HardwareLogic had an official David Hasselhoff fan club? We know what you’re thinking, “Oh boy, have I ever!” Well put the magic lamp away folks, today’s the day your wish comes true! Effective immediately, Drew (drew and not you) and myself are pleased to announce that we are accepting applications for induction into this premier venue of Hasselhoff appreciation.

Though it should require no explanation, some sheltered individuals may wonder why we are doing this for the former Knight Rider star. For those folks, we’d like to point out some lyrical gems such as Jump in my Car, Hooked on a Feeling, and Secret Agent Man. Combining truly state of the art special effects sure to make your mind go kablooey with poetic verbiage reminiscent of a modern day Shakespeare, the end result is a smorgasbord of sensory stimulation that once experienced, can never be purged from the mind.

At this point, you must be eagerly anxious to enter. But not so fast delirious and devoted David doters! Like all coveted clubs, acceptance into this venerated gathering of Hasselhoff appreciators will be closely monitored and NOT on a first-come-first-served basis. To be considered for acceptance, you must meet at least one of the following criteria:

- post a paragraph of at least five lines telling us why you feel David Hasselhoff is the greaterest evar! Alternately, you may submit a half page, double spaced essay to this same effect.

- record yourself singing any David Hasselhoff song and submit it in MP3 form (you will be granted immediate acceptance for doing so)

- provide proof that you own a David Hasselhoff signature, or have at least 3 sources confirm you once had a body part autographed by the lyrical genius

- submit, to the best of your ability, a respectable portrait of David Hasselhoff composed entirely in Microsoft’s Paint program

- make your own video in the same flavor of any Hasselhoff song

- with a permanent marker, draw a portrait of David Hasselhoff on your arm with at least one heart somewhere close by. At least 2 co-workers must see said temporary tattoo before washing it off.
