I know it's been a little while since I've been by, so I thought I'd come see what's up.

I've been busy working, of course. My new job isn't the greatest in the world, but it beats being unemployed. The owner doesn't like to keep his equipment in good shape, and trucks break down all the time, but it'll do for the time being.

My house is in the preliminary stages at the moment. We just have to wait for the city to approve the building permits, and then they can get started. And then we'll have to close on the deal, but that's probably next year.

I did a memory upgrade on my mother's computer over the holiday weekend, mainly because my sister picked up a photo editor that could barely run on the 504MB of RAM I had initially put into it. I'm amazed XP ran on that little memory. I found 1GB PC3200 on sale at Staples for about $35, so she picked up 2 sets. One of them ended up being free, because the checker wasn't paying attention, LOL! So they now have 2GB for $35! Besides, I wasn't going to pay well over $100 for the same RAM at Best Buy...

This weekend, I'll be upgrading my wife's RAM to 2GB DDR2 533. I found it on sale at Staples also for about the same price. So, memory-wise, her comp will now be better than mine, LOL!
