Default Hell has frozen over

Many Baghdad Residents See Snow for the First Time

For the first time in nearly 80 years, Baghdad saw snow fall.
So much for this global warming theory

Thanks HL and Corsair!

Contrary to popular belief it gets pretty freaking cold in Iraq. When I was there it didn't snow but there was ice on the ground a few mornings. It does get in the low 40's in the winter, which might not seem that cold here in the US, but when the Summers get above 120, 40 can feel pretty damn cold.

I am hoping for some snow here in FL too... its possible in my stretch. The wife says we usually get an inch or two every decade or two

Yeah, it did get pretty cold over there a couple times. I don't think it ever got cold enough to snow while I was there. But I do recall giving up water based showers for about a month due to how cold it was. No way to heat enough water to take a shower. Some folks did, but most of us just used baby wipes for about a month.

QFT, I did the exact same thing. You don't know misery until you take a shower outside in ice cold water in 40 degree temperatures. I said F it I will take whore baths.
