| Re: Health insurance a joke Yup, it's a sad state we're in here in the U.S.. Everyone wants to claim the U.S. is leaps ahead in health care quality, yet they neglect the fact that you have to be wealthy to get it. Even with insurance, a serious accident or condition can land you in debt. And even with insurance, when you need it they seem to find ways to weasel out of paying the bill...then tie it up in court for years until you have no money left and have to settle for half the cost of your medical bills.
