Default Gun thread

based on the banter in the other thread thought I would start this off....

I myself have used a few M16s for short periods but have never actually had any problems... of course these were short time periods and not in a military setting so I cannot comment on that situation....

Thanks HL and Corsair!

I have had a variety of them but ended up with a few custom made ones with custom lowers and FN uppers with custom barrels.

They are nice toys and accurate. But I prefer M1A's to them.

I have been around every flavor of .22 for my whole life that I feel like they are a part of me now. I have an affinity for those rifles and pistols, they are cheap and fun to shoot.

That is definitely crazy. Not only is the fact that she survived a bullet to the face, but that there are people out there that have road rage that bad. Kinda makes you wonder what happened to cause the situation to escalate to gunfire!

Nobody has answered my question or replied from the other thread (Trading Thread), have any of you had the opportunity to shoot the S&W M&P15?

It's a great/awesome stock M16 variant that is worth every penny of the $1,700 asking price. S&W really came through on this one.

Never had the pleasure of shooting it. Do you have a link ... so I may drool over it though.

Oh by the way ... I'll be selling perhaps as many as 5 firearms in the next month or so. Plus a Dillon 550B reloading setup.

They will probably be listed on AR15.com and Sturmgewehr.com

Plus some mags and lots of ammo and new brass etc.

Gona clear out quite a bit.

I have a new M21 ... I may even sell it ... it is Cryo Treated.

I'm not really into the whole rifle thing, although I've had some experience with the M-16, CAR-15, G-3, M-21 and M-1. My love for firearms is in the shotgun arena where I own a couple of trapshooting models and a skeet model or two.

Bird hunting is pretty fun, I prefer it over deer hunting.
