Default Got a new LCD - Finally!

Just picked up today a Viewsonic VX922, as a replacement for my outdated VG800.

The VX922 has a 2ms response time, sweet!

Nice monitor! Have you played any fast-action games or watched
a movie on it yet? I'd be interested to hear from you just how
good that 2ms really is.

The VX922 is a good monitor, tried it. People exagerate alot though on the response time, anything under 8ms if more than fine for gaming, heck i'm still a machine. :P
Sure pandaman will say otherwise, since I didn't score very good the first time I played Call of Duty 2, but after two tries I'm better than Rambo.

If there is a final hour, let's hope for a higher power. One by one, and two by two, I have ammo, what about you?

I got it for $289Can., which is $249US when converted at xe.com/ucc, it was on sale at Staples.

To answer the above questions:
Contrast and brightness are really good, when I had the monitor besides my old LCD, the older one looked like it had its brightness set on low compared to the VX922.
Quickly tries some movies and games and response time is great, no ghosting and the image detail/clarity is also far better than the old LCD I have.

I do recommend it, but there is a slight issue with a stuck pixel.
It's kind of stuck on blue, and it is 1/3 way down from the top left corner of the screen.
It is only visible if I'm looking at something pure black or something really dark.
I'll have to use the monitor for a bit more to see if this will be an issue for me.

I can't remember the stuck pixel policy by Viewsonic, but I don't think this entitles me for a replacement LCD, does it?

I don't think any manufacturer will replace an LCD for just one stuck pixel. There is actually a way to fix stuck pixels, but I can't remember what it was.

I tried UDPixel to make it un-stuck, I will run it again for a bit longer and see if it works.

Don't really want to start physically touching the effected pixel just yet, it will probably do more harm, causing more pixels to start acting up.

Edit::
I looked at the effected pixel through a magnifying glass and it looks like only 1/3 of the blue pixel is effected, it appears the red, green and blue pixels are made from 3 sub-pixels.
