Yep, I love camping and fishing in the summer months here, but I am not so sure that I will be able to go more than about once all summer

I think if everyone across the country would just stop driving and buying gas for one day, it would devastate the oil companies!!!

I'm really glad I only live a half mile from work and I just walk or ride my bike every day!

I got a e-mail that said May 15th internet users should not buy gas in protest of the high prices but I don't see that happening.

Yeah yeah, 2.87\gal is really killing us Americans who make 5 times that in 1 hour of work. Working in the travel industry, I come into contact with many foreigners who talk of gas prices that are 8.00\gal. We are addicted to oil, our economy runs on it...

Yes, we are addicted to oil, but any solution is going to take a long time to implement. Most of us have no access to public transportation and do not live in a climate where we don't have to heat our homes. Only the state and federal governments can provide the financial resources to make the necessary transportation services available, and they don't seem to be at all interested in doing so.

I already keep the house at 68 deg in winter, 78 deg in summer; ride my bike or walk when I can. What more can I do?

Vote during each election, and don't buy gas from anything with Exxon or BP's name on it.
