The suit just doesn't look viable. It's very costly and there are so many points of failure.

Well, as we are part of a computer community, you could say that in context to computer, they can be costly-way more than 2000 bucks, and they can have tons of points of failure, yet somehow some people got it right and now there isnt so many problems and costs have come down. So figuring that this is only an invention, like a rough draft type of thing, who know the government may ask for certain change to it, but sh*t if i had 2 grand i'd get one

As for military use, I can't imagine any real situation where something like this would be cost effective or useful.
