Good job guys. Our community is really growing but not as fast as I'd hoped. Lets get out there and tell people about HL.

Companies look at community popularity and size along with site hits when they send us stuff. That means if we have more members... its a benefit to everyone.

Let's write a hijacker to make HL everyone's home page!!
And then shoot ourselves for being ultimate asshats.

On second thought.... maybe we should try something else.

almost 100....we're smoking up the Rosetta ranks, our Alexa rating is climbing.....things are good.
We really need to bring in more members, and more active members.....ideas?

Only 3% of the people who visit the hardwarelogic.com domain go to forums.hardwarelogic.com, the other 97% are just on the front page. Pretty eye-opening if you ask me....

well, companies place our "rank" with them on two things.....Alexa rating, and forum members.
We're kind of caught in the middle.......our traffic is outstanding (30,000 hits a day), we are doing extremely well for a 6 month old site, enough that people are taking notice......the problem is that people look at our standing without realizing we are pretty new, and think our Alexa rating and forum member count are pretty low.

we need like a big forum link or something catchy on that front page to get some attention here. im thinking

"Lan Party at such and such a night, vote for the game to be played in our forums"

if we can get the gaming community that visits the front page for hardware advice in here we would grow like mad
