Yea I agree with Hitman. Those are all great bands. I can't stand a lot of todays music.

I have a bunch of classic rock. Billy Squire, Boston, Cheap Trick, David Bowie, Donovan, Foreigner, Journey, Rush, Motorhead, Nazareth, Fleetwood Mac etc. Also some other stuff, like Pepper, Sublime, Quantic, and some lesser known stuff like Mike Relm.

For newer bands, Rob Zombie, Rammenstein, Kamelot and Rhapsody are a few I listen too daily.

I'm kinda odd in what I like. I grew up listening to bands like AC/DC, Black Sabbath, Judas Priest. When I got to my teens I started listening to KoRn, Mudvayne, Ramnstein, Slipknot, Linkin Park, Coal Chamber, Pantera. Some newer bands have perked my interest along the same lines of the ones mention like Lamb of God, Killswitch Engaged and Shadows Falls.

Truth be told I usually just listen to those bands when playing games because I generally don't enjoy the soundtrack (console games that is).

Other bands I generally listen too are Red Hot Chilly Peppers, Modest Mouse, Nirvana, Collective Soul, and The Offspring.

Well, for my two cents, I'd recommend:

Callenish Circle, Mors Principium Est, Decapitated, Skinless, Amon Amarth, Children of Bodom, Dimmu Borgir, Bishop of Hexen, Quo Vadis, Kataklysm, Gojira, Morbid Angel, Mudvayne, Living Sacrifice, Swallow The Sun.

A bit of my old stuff mixed in with my new. A mixture of genres. They're in no particular order.
