| To sense a few miliwatts of radio energy is pretty incredible if you ask me. Going by that, Cell phone towers and radio stations should drive them crazy, why don' they sue them for discrimination. | T-Rex | I know someone who is affected by cellphones (causes mild headaches) but at least he isn't expecting the whole world to change for him... |

| Level 2 College Student | That's like saying I'm allergic to CO2 and I'm gonna sue everyone who owns a car or uses electricity from the power plant. Move to Siberia or something. Jesus. This is just another person trying to make a quick buck in this sue-happy judicial system we have |

| Bowser pwner. | My mom can sense strong electro magnetic fields from things.. We had a wireless logitech keyboard at the main computer with a wireless mouse for a while, and she started getting head aches, muscle aches, she had allergies (she never has allergies).... yea so we took the keyboard away and she was all good! (well actually, she put the keyboard away... ) |

| I wonder how many of them have cordless phones operating in the 2.4 GHz band? ![]() Then we have a variety of cell towers as well as countless other com networks running in microwave regions (bands). Is "Electro-Sensitive" actually defined in medicine? Ron |

| F Ucn rd dis U mst uzUNIX | As mentioned though, this is WiFi and the range included in the same, banned. So what about AM radio at 520 kHz–1,610 kHz? If that's not enough, they'll have to blot out the sun that easily outshines any and all earthbound radio waves in situations. But it states "dozens of others" in Sante Fe are electro-sensitive. That's a large percentage of the population. Open studies show it's not that popular, and only right at the source in most cases (why phones seem to be more proving). I bet they can take it all down for a month, not tell them, and they'll still feel and complain about these effects. Heck, they could have psychological effects of just being in public and just blame it on something else. I get really stressed just being in public places. As a legal angle, I don't think discrimination can stick. Not when basing it off self-diagnosed health matters, let alone grey sciences like electro-sensitivity. They're not handicapped, never been diagnosed with it, so they can't file discrimination from it. Less so when they jump right to Wi-Fi and technology before an act of discrimination. Hahah...I'd like to take a normal R/C remote control and tease them, acting like I'm trying to take them over as my own pet. Last edited by Boy'nBlack; May 29th, 2008 at 16:16. |
