That's news? Gawd I hate the public media. You read this as being alien? It's OUR noises man. It can be HEARD by others. We know where the noises are coming from, and it's never been outside of our orbit...not from day one. We've always known it's our noise and not alien.

Heard that we just found water on mars? Ya...we did that 100 years ago. It's not new. It's just that we are now holding it in trays, trying to put it in a mechanical device, and baking it to see what's in the water. This, and your story link, is not new.

During the first hour and a half of the show, space historian Robert Zimmerman reported on Mars & the Phoenix Lander. He was critical of press coverage trumpeting the discovery of water on Mars, saying scientists had "known water was on mars for 100 years." Zimmerman stressed that the truly exciting event on Mars was that a man-made instrument was touching water on another world for the first time. Also, he said that the shallow depth of the ice was of particular interest and surprise to scientists who study the Red Planet.

He also reacted to the news that mercury is shrinking and speculated on what may have caused the Tunguska Event.

Don't hate AM. If you like science, you love that show. It's probably being replayed right now on an affiliate in your area. But this linked "news" is well known to those tuned in...Since Art retired the 1st of 8 times...and not the way you somehow read that as being alien.
