| I've noticed we have a few comic book readers here, even some people taking their names from comics. I was wondering what everyone reads and what there fav characters/teams/stories are. For me, I'm a Marvel guy mainly, though I dip into indie books and DC from time to time. I'm currently reading The Walking Dead - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Great book about an undead apocalypse world. New Avengers (comic book) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia The underground Avengers after Civil War The Amazing Spider-Man - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia 'Nuff said. The Dark Tower: The Gunslinger Born - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Stephen King's Darktower series born to graphic novella, amazing artwork and story. Avengers: The Initiative - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia The Avengers team endorsed by the post Civial War government initiative. Tony Stark is an asshole and I hate Ms. Marvel. Marvel Zombies vs. The Army of Darkness - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia I loved the Marvel Zombies stories, and this book shows the origins featuring Ash from Army of Darkness! Hilarious book. Captain America - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia What with Cap "dead" and all, this one is a must read. Good Super Soldiers never die, they just get frozen and thawed back out when needed again. I enjoyed Civil War, alot of people are mad over the whole Marvel 616 shakeup, but I'm glad they did it. It's been high time they changed everything and took it in a new direction. Just like DC Infinite Crisis, Marvel had to do some cleaning up for continuities' sake. I thought it was a relevant story, and definately worth reading; the best series in that part was Civil War Frontlines. It was the most engaging book, focusing more on the effects and politics of the Civil War. I also liked House of M for returning the X-Men to a true crisis mode. With the upcoming event Endangered Species, the X-men will need everyone they can get since there are now so few mutants. With some of the X-men slated to die, it should be a good read. | ||||||||||||||
