Red face Chihully at NY Botanical Gardens

At the rose forum I go to, someone posted a link to his album of shots from the NY Botanical Gardens. They are having a Chihully exhibit from June until October. The glass pieces are works of art. I've seen one on a much small scale and would love to own a piece.

Next will be the holiday train show. From what I've seen of photos by Labrea, wish I could make the drive there. The exhibit is made up of replicas from more than 140 New York landmarks—from the Statue of Liberty to Yankee Stadium—made entirely from plant parts like berries, leaves, and seeds. If you'd like to see the pics he took last year, look here

I am roughly 1.5 hours away by subway. Silly how I confused that with the Brooklyn Botanical Garden. I think I could learn a thing or two for my Environmental Science class.

Nice to see you too. What's been up?

I sent these links to my daughter who is 10. She has been looking at those pictures a little each day ever since then.

I just forgot to comment on how much we enjoyed them. It must have been during that week I had my head up my.....I mean in the sand!!

Glad she enjoyed them. I'd love to save a few to use as wallpaper, maybe print them out to hang in my computer room.
