| I'm Evil | In what's supposed to be the most exciting time of the year for tech journalists and enthusiasts alike, day 1 of CES is in the books. We say 'supposed to be,' because to be blunt, we've so far been underwhelmed by CES as a whole. We've watched the show decline in attendance the last three years and really hoped that 2007 was simply an off year, but here it is 2008 and we've yet to be swept off our feet. But lest we come off as total negative Nancies, we're not declaring the show a total bust this year. After all, we're but a single day into the event, and we've only scratched the surface of the show floor and meeting with companies. So who did we meet with so far? Today we talked with EVGA, Antec, Corsair, OCZ, and Foxconn. | Super Moderator | Oh yeah - Paul and Rich......Chris was nowhere......just covering your butts and all. Making excuses for your ill behavior and all. That's ok - leave the **** out. lol. BTW - the floor was lack luster :( |

| I don't know how to put this, but, I'm kind of a big deal. | I have no idea what you're talking about, but we probably should mention that Manta laid one helluva stinky egg in a crowded elevator, thereby probably damaging the illustrious reputation of HardwareLogic for good... |

| I'm Evil | WTF, Manta was there!?!? Just kidding, we had fun hanging out Chris, HL's degenerate gambler... EDIT: Thread updated to reflect main page article. | Hopefully things will pick up and as you guys said, you only scratched the surface a little. I am sure given time to explore there will be some things to share. Wonder if the lackluster of the show is a result of a slowing economy? Do the companies represented seem enthusiastic? Suggestion: Avoid using the elevators with Chris in tow. Now you know bad things can happen. Ron |

| Modder-ator | It's nuts man. There are so many people you can hardly move and so much technology you can hardly see it all! You seriously have to push your way through people like the whole time and be careful not to knock that shiny new motherboard off Asus's display as you make your way across the show floors. |
