Canadian Dollar same as U.S.

The Canadian dollar is now worth what the U. S. dollar is. I don't think thats anything to be proud of though.

It was bound to happen sooner or later with the way the dollar has been declining through out the world.

Yeah it's at an all time low against the Euro ($1 buys €.69), but yet they are lowering our COLA (Cost of Living Allowance) damn Army accountants. Glad I am going back to the states where the exchange rate doesn't affect daily buying like it does here.

when a gallon of milk is closing in on $5, gas is hanging around $3, and more companies are finding ways to screw the public.... its a good thing the Fed Reserve reduced the rate a half point to help things a bit. Trickle down seems to help more than massive federal programs

Now if only companies across the country would start paying a wage that was livable before or dollar wasn't worth crap, then we might be in fair shape.

As much as I loathe the man, it's not all Dubya's fault.

The Congress that allowed him to cut taxes for corporations/people who don't spend it in America, and drive our country directly into the ground in every conceivable way in just a few short years is just as much to blame.
