This guys has some awesome pictures from Fleet Week 2007 in San Francisco, the best of the bunch are about halfway down, with the Blue Angel doing the low level fly by under the Golden Gate, and about 20ft off the water.

Awesome! The show here in Pensacola was really nice this year too. They always go all out here since it's their home base, and usually the last show of the season. Good times.

I like the local Blue Angel shows here (I am about 10 minutes from Sumgai) but the big one every summer at Pensacola beach has just gotten to be overbearing... thousands of people on a 1000ft stretch of beach is just too many.

Sweet pictures... glad to see that Edwards AFB made an appearance with the F-22. That F-16 with the "HL" tailflash is from Hill AFB in Utah. The guy also linked some real time video of that F-18 doing the low level pass in SF. Check out the video to hear the sound of freedom. It's been awhile since I've heard fighter aircraft doing high speed passes like that; it's a sound I miss hearing.

these Blue Angels are very good at low level flights like that being from the Pensacola area.
At a very close range to the water like that I understand it is more like a vacuum trying to pull the jet closer tot he water because of some strange water/air volume principle...
but very cool nonetheless

The Blue Angels come to our city and do a show over the water too, but I've never seen them go that low!
