Cool burnt toast/broken Vacuum

Heres the story...

It can get a little crazy on weekends when all 4 kids are here. They were having snacktime and I forgot about the piece of toast in the toaster oven/ It burnt, black as black could be. The toaster oven was completely filled with smoke. So, now the vacuum part of the story. The little hoover vacuum just happend to be sitting on the counter near the oven. As I opend the door to the oven and all the smoke began to pour out into the kitchen..... I happend to grab the vacuum thinking I could suck up the smoke (). I went to use the vacuum yesterday and when it runs it stinks of burnt smoke.... we washed the filters and ferbreezed the dang thing, but still it stinks when I use it...... I need a new vac now or anyone know how to get the smell out of the unit? Freakin stinks!!!!

Soak a napkin, tiolet paper etc....in mens cologne or womens perfume etc...and suck it up or put it in the vaccum...then run it.Should clear it out in a day or two.OR,you could suck up baking powder, half box or so,and let it sit a couple days, then re-clean everything.

Haha, that sounds like a typical culinary adventure for me too. Maybe vacuum up some baking soda?

Try vacuuming up some baking soda and let it sit a day. Then empty and clean it.
