Back in Germany

As some of you know I went to Oklahoma for 2 weeks for a school. I just got back to Germany this morning. The flight was long but uneventful. The 2 weeks went pretty well. Long days, classes started at 4:30am and most days wasn't out until 5pm. I did end up getting the highest score on the final test so apparently I was paying attention in class even though I was fighting sleep most of the time. I will be moving to Oklahoma when I leave Germany in the Fall, so I checked out some information about schools, and the local area. Got a general idea for what my job will be when I get there. Overall it was a pretty good trip.

Thats great Hitman, glad you got back ok, and everything went good!!!!

Are you still going to be able to do the trip this way before going to OK, or just going strait to OK????

I will be in Colorado for a little bit. I also need to make it up to Oregon while I am on leave, but haven't planned it all out yet.

I was so busy while I was in OK, I didn't have much time for anything, as you could probably tell from my low post count over the past couple of weeks. I did get to go to Walmart and fill my wifes order :D. Ate at a few restaurants, checked out a few houses, and watched 63 channels of TV in English :D.

That was probably kind of refreshing to be able to watch a ton of TV in English!!!!!

I was just wondering if you were going to attempt to do a LAN party up this way before getting settled in OK??? If so, we just need to know when you plan on being up this way, and we will plan the LAN for that time Joe!!!!

I will be in Colorado Late Oct for sure. I haven't decided if I am going to drive to Oregon or fly. If I drive that will put me going right through Cheyenne, no matter which way I go, up I-25 into Montana, or cut it south and take I-80 thru Utah and Idaho. Both ways go right through Cheyenne, but it only takes 10 min to drive through, so the chances of you seeing me is pretty thin. J/K It usually takes me 22 hours to drive from Colorado Springs to Portland if I drive it straight. I usually take I-80 if I am going right to Portland, but if I am picking my kids up in North Idaho I take I-25 to I-90.
