Anyone Interested?

I've been thinking about writing up a combinatoin how/to and review of the hardware and software that I use for :

• Watching TV on my PC with Tivo/PVR functions
• Recording TV movies
• Removing commercials automatically (or as close as you get to automatic)
• Creating Mpeg2 and 4 for viewing on any of our direct wired or wireless computers, including the PSP.
• Creating DVD's from PVRrecordings or Cam, complete with menus and affects

I would probably start with an outline of the hardware and software and what each does and then go on to some how/to instructions and history of lessons learned. Some of these things may be second nature for some people, but others may be completely intimidated by them.

So if anyone would be interested in this, reply so I'll know how high the interest level is.

I was going to attemp something along these lines, but other reviews and life got in the way. I know I would be interested as I am in the process of finalizing my "media" machine (not HTPC).

JPH: I'd love to see a guide for this. I've got a cable box in my room and a video card with VIVO and never even bothered in looking into doing this. I would love to see this though so I can set my system up as a DVR!
