Default Any night owls in here?

I have switched over to late hours so I can trade the currency markets.

Sooo ... I "work" from 10:PM now until 9:AM Sunday night till Friday Morning.

Just wondering if anyone else has the night watch out there.

PS- I know based on the Trade Game on marketwatch ... that it may not look like I know anything about trading ... but I retired in 2001 at 40 after 3 years of stock trading.

Now I am working the currencies [Need more cash infusion due to poor money management.] ... meaning the night shift ... euro time ... so I can have lotsa "House Money" ... to work what I believe will be great E-mini futures and Stock markets to come.

Sitting here in front of 6 screens full of charts ... they get warm ... too bad they don't ad a bit of color to me too.

Geo ... out

Yup...off and on. I pull shifts and quite often I'm catching up in here. I'm on my 24hr turnover right now, and fighting like mad to stay up! Worked 3 days and going to 3 nights.

I get a lot of time off too. If I'm not out on some mini-project at those times, I'll be up to about 3am but that's about it. It's just usually a good time to tinker since it's really nice and cool, no interruptions, and I just have to be quiet for the neighbors.

I'm up because I went to bed at 9pm est. I sleep 6 hrs. Woke up,watched tv till the breaker kicked.Don't know why it kicked.Think the tv is on the blink.Let it "cool" down a few minutes and reset the breaker, works fine a few minutes and kicked again,so I shut it off.Could be the power strip though, going to plug tv directly into the outlet and see if it repeats action. Normally I go to bed around midnight,up at 6am and to work for 7-7:30 for 10 to 12 hrs.Nicest time of the day is early morn to me....I beat the damn birds up !

Hey ... there is life out there !!!!!!!!!!!

My eyes are cooking with all this LCD light ... wish me luck in trading ... or better yet ... encourage me to follow the rules and not get impatient and make stupid trades that aren't technically sound!

Anyways ... thanks for the replies!

Geo ...

PS- This shift change is reeeaally cutting into my beer intake. I can't have beer late night ... because I trade starting at 10:PM ... I can't have a beer at the end of my day ... because it is 8:AM in the morning. Heck ... I only get one beer ... and that is at dinner 6:PM

Oh well ... maybe I will loose weight

I'm sure you're better at it than I, but look into those making solar panels. Been a few names with quite rampant strong buy suggestions. I bit on one about 3 months ago (FSLR). Corning (GLW) always seems good too.

If you get tired, crank up some Jim Cramer. The one human born without a volume control.
