Default After a nailgun/hand mix

Well, I figured if Hitman can put in the soldier stitches pics,,, heh, heh, heh. Gonna try and put in pics of what my left hand looked like after receiving treatment for a nail gun accident I had last Summer working for the Nationa Park Service rebuilding Boardwalks that the 04 hurricanes destroyed.

Also took 6 stitches to close up. Luckily, the 16p nail went under, and around any and all tendons, veins, and arteries. Hurt like hell, but I now have a scar running from the thumb/wrist joint to just between the ring finger and little finger is. Reminder! Always make sure safety device is installed on nail gun before using!!!

Did it heal up?

yeah, it has. From time to time, there is still some 'dead' feeling in the area, which is natural, and there's a bump where the nail went in at, but all in all, it healed nicely. I no longer use nail guns without the safety attachment.

A whole new meaning to "getting your nails done?"

OMG, that is one hideous wound!

Reminds me of what my knee looked like after I had surgery on it to remove a cyst, except that I had staples instead of stitches. Damn that hurt...

As a matter of fact,,,,,,,,,,,,, Also went back to work the next day, although it was light duty for a couple days. They wouldn't let me lift anything that required the use of both hands. Wimps, I swear!!! Let a man do his job, sheesh.

I should post my brain surgery pics. If I did, I could provide proof that I have a brain. Unlike some of the folks around here.
