An 18 year old once got voted to a judge position in Florida, they let him do traffic tickets.

The laws have since been changed.

As long as he do his job, that's pretty cool.

"As long as the person can do the job, vote for him/her" seems to be the trend these days. Though experience should be a factor as well IMHO.

Then you end up with the same old recycled ideas, over and over again.

Wow smashing that's probably the most insightful post ever to come from you.

Doesn't surprise me here in OK, intelligent capable people are hard to find here.

We all start somewhere, and experience doesn't dictate your ability to do a certain job.

In boy scouts, there's different leadership positions. The top one is the Senior Patrol Leader, he's in charge of the entire troop, he organizes everything, plan's the camping trips, everything, it's big job....
And at 14, they voted me in to that position.

It was good fun, tough, but an excellent experience. Taught me good speaking skills to, because I had to run the meetings each week...

I completely agree with you, the person should have experience, the age doesn't matter to much.

Just a little OT there, but thought I'd chime in. Being a leader is fun!
