| it only has integrated graphics so heavy gaming is pretty much out of the equation although you should be able to play some older games at lower settings. if you want a gaming laptop, look for something with a 7600/X1600 series or higher E8400 @ 4ghz (500x8 @ 1.35v) Gigabyte X38-DQ6 2x2GB G-Skill DDR2 1000 @ DDR2 1000 5-5-5-15 2.1v 2 Sapphire ATi Radeon HD3870 in Crossfire Seagate 7200.11 500GB 32MB Cache HDD Audigy 2 ZS Gamer Silverstone DA750 Samsung Dual Layer DVD Burner Lian Li G70WB Thermochill PA120.3|Swiftech Storm Rev.2|Swiftech MCP 655 | ||||||||||||||

I would highly suggest that you take a look at what HP has to offer. I have been researching laptops for about two months now, and have discovered that HP is the best bang for the buck out there. It is also worth noting that as long as you are a student in an accredited educational institution, HP offers an instant savings of $100 or so off any desktop or laptop you buy. The program is called Academic Purchase Program or APP. Here is the HL thread that I started when I was (and still am) looking at purchasing a laptop Last edited by garetjax; April 14th, 2007 at 11:59. | |||||||||||||||
