If you want a videocard that is more expensive and more powerful and has DX10, i'd say the 8800GTS is a good choice. Or you could always wait until the R630 comes out. Then of course you have a cheaper option like the 7900GS or the x1950pro that is much cheaper but only DX9. For more "response" I'd say you should overclock your D805. They can overclock quite a bit. You could probrably get that sucker to 3.2-3.4 even 4ghz if you had good cooling.
