| Since Rich i think deleted or moved the previous thread which he requested the worse wiring job, I made this one. Was just gonna post an update there but oh well. Anyway bought a new Asus P5K-Green Motherboard (seems like its not even "officially" out in the US, only seen on Asus' Taiwan website and not even the Egg or ZZF has it) from Microcenter. Figured i should do a diligent job of wiring or at least make an attempt since my old pic was chosen for his story of bad wiring lol. anyway, onwards we go! ![]() Before pics: ![]() ![]() After Pics: ![]() ![]() Not the best job, but a lot better from before. Oh and as usual i cut my finger yet again (really is every time i open my case i cut something on my hand -_-) When i get the IC Diamond compound i'll prob see if i can tuck away more of those wires on the right side of the DVD Drive bay Oh and yes the DVD drive is on the lowest Bay slot because Asus decided with this MB they would stick the IDE connector in the most ridiculous place imaginable...or maybe they just telling me to buy a new DVD burner to replace my Asus DRW-1814BL lol | ||||||||||||||

| Looks somewhat better. If you really want to take the time and effort to get it to look really neat, get a Dremel and cut some holes through the motherboard tray and hide the cables behind the motherboard tray. And maybe try your hand at sleeving some of those wires. | lol tbh i have big fat fingers/hands so i end up cutting myself mainly whenever im working around the MB lol. The pins usually scratch me somewhere and when seating the MB into the case i always tend to get my finger caught somewhere. I tried tucking everything in the small hole next to the PSU to get it around there, the MB tray and the backplate has like a 1 cm clearance space so i dunno how good that'll be to cut a hole in there. I'm looking to getting a new case anyway since i just love the Antec 900, only got this NZXT one cause it was on sale for 70 i believe and i prefer RED LED over Blue, but the 900 is just damn sexy. next time i can find it for 50 im jumping on it =D | ||||||||||||||

| You can store quite a bit of cable in a small space. ![]() Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 | DFI Blood Iron P35-T2RL | 2GB G.Skill 800MHz | EVGA GeForce 8800GTS 320MB | Silverstone Decathlon 650W | Western Digital 250GB SATA II | ||||||||||||||
