| I'm looking to build a system using parts of my old components. I have on hand: 1GB of DDR2-533 Corsair VS, an X1900XTX (thanks again, Cap), a DVD burner (I'll take it from the Dell), and a 160GB 5400RPM SATA HD (it was a laptop HD). Technically, I need a CPU, motherboard, case, and PSU, but I'd like to include a 160GB 7200RPM HD in that too (I like my hard drive space!). Budget... It'd be nice to stay around $200, but $250's quite all right. I just want a system in my own room... I'll get an LCD eventually as well. I doubt you'll be able to shove another gig of RAM in there (or even 2GB if possible for 3GB total), but if possible, yay! I'm thinking of using a X2 3800+ though, unless the prices on the E2160 has dropped enough. Any new mobo recommendations? I haven't been in the scene for a while! :) Thanks guys. - Core 2 Quad Q6600 - DFI Infinity 975X - 4GB Corsair XMS2 w/ DHX DDR2-800 - 250GB Seagate 7200.10RPM + 160GB Hitachi 5400.4RPM - ATi Radeon X1900XT 256MB - Cooler Master Centurion 5 + OCZ StealthXStream 600W - Acer 19" P191W Monitor - Logitech Z-5500 Digital + Logitech MX Revolution - Vista Ultimate x64 |

| Eyed the CPU and a Gigabyte G31 mobo. Going for a Cooler Master 534 probably and get a Fortron 400W PSU (linkage below). I think that'd put me over $200, but that's quite all right. I'm feeling this is gonna run $300+. Haha.
