Default Possibly in the market for a new Tv, Help please!

Hey guys,
Here's the deal:
I'm pretty sure i just landed myself a 360, (trading a lot of lacrosse gear i no longer use to someone who got a 360 as a gift and doesn't want it)
but i need a TV.
Since at the end of the summer i got off to college, i want something big enough for a few people to play on, but not so big it's clunky if i have to move it. Ghosting is a no-no, and clarity is really important to me.
HD would be good too.

If you guys have some favorites, (i'm thinking around 24-32") at a sub, $600 price point, or there-about, please let me know.
Thanks guys!
Jazzy

Sure you still want an Xbox 360?

Red Ring of Failure - Video Game Feature - Yahoo! Video Games

Not only that, but the Xbox employs an HD-DVD player, which, as we all know, is now a defunct technology, as the HD format war has now but all been claimed by Blu-Ray, which the PS3 supports.

This is the unit my younger son bought for movies/PS3 gaming and it really looks good and you can usually find a good sale ..somewhere for it.

Vizio Inc. - Products - VW32L - 32" LCD HDTV

Im sure there are cheaper models out there, just something to compare.
It is light to carry if needed, under one arm style.

If all else fails, hit up the Xbox web site to request a warranty repair. They'll send you a cardboard "coffin" for you to return your console and send back a fixed machine in a few weeks. The official warranty was extended to three years for this specific problem, so even launch-day 360s are technically still covered.
it's 2 months old, the article also states if it's 6 months old or less, it's survival rate is significantly better due to hardware changes.

I don't care about playing HD -DVDs, i just want to play games. PC is my main thing, but there are a few 360 games i really want to get my fill of.

Get a good brand LCD. Do not get a cheap westinghouse, vizio, or off brand name. Stick with the big 4, samsung, sony, phillips, toshiba. The warranties and the service on these is better. I am not saying they have better pictures just that if it does break you will want to get it fixed under warranty.

I would rather read a NewEgg review than a [H] review

None of them have a "good" warranty imho. Sony is 1yr and costs $200 more ,for the same size screen, you also prepay to and from shipping. And your paying for the name also when purchasing from name brand.

Here's a couple of links to help you out. This web site is addictive and extremely informational when it comes to all things AV. I highly recommend this site as I have spent more than enough time scouring through its forums when I bought my HDTV set. Do your research, and go through these links; you will only do yourself a favor in the long run. =)
