| Yea, we need to know your price range. I think you should switch over to Intel... the C2D architecture beats the K8 pretty consistently across the charts. $0.02 Also you'll need a 64-bit OS to use all 4GB of RAM. |

| After much reading and thinking this morning, I think I'll just use 2GB of RAM and Vista 32-bit for now. My price range is about $1000-1500 One of those is an all in one, and the other is just a 2nd for if I ever need to copy disc-to-disc. I may end up removing the 2nd drive from my list. |

| I'm not sure of your budget ... so ... Here is one "budget" PS [free shipping] that is well rated ... and has plenty of power for your system [I have one] Thermaltake TR2 W0070RUC ATX 430W This one however is a great PS and will meet your future build needs for several years. CORSAIR CMPSU-520HX This one has loads of power ... way way more than you need now and with that system ... till you upgrade just about everything. OCZ GameXStream OCZ700GXSSLI ATX12V 700W These all will work well ... I suggest the Corsair however .... They are all top rated and reviewed also. |

Or it might be like me, I have been running AMD for so long, back in the k6-2 350mhz days, that I will just stick with them. As for your CPU, spend the extra $20.00 and get the 6400 black edition! The multiplier is unlocked on both the 5000 black, and the 6400 blacks! | |
