So this is probably a dumb question, but it's been a while since I built my last comp. For the RAM (Crucial Ballistix 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory (x2)), the installation talks about "having matched pairs is highly recommended for dual channel configuration *Use matching color slots for dual channel." I have 2 blue and 2 black interfaces for the RAM. Since I have 4 sticks, 2 from each kit, do I just fill up all 4 slots? Or do the other 2 slots require a different kind of ram? When I put the Ram into the blue interfaces, it doesn't seem to fit as well (e.g., the clip doesn't come all the way into the groove on the RAM).

That's definitely odd because all the slots are the same. If you have 2 kits, use 2 sticks from one kit in the two same coloured slots, and then the last 2 sticks in the remaining same coloured slots. Put it in the right way (only one way) and it will go in.

Anytime. As long as they're in they aren't popping out, it's fine. If they seem tight, it doesn't matter - that's how it's meant to be (usually find titer fits on higher end boards anyway). As long as they're snug and properly connected, you shouldn't have any issues.

Do the heads of the screws that go into the studs/holders for the mobo touch the mobo itself? Or stay above? E.g., do they go snuggly against the board or does only the shaft of the screw make contact with the mobo?
