Default new build wondering about bottleneck

Hi, I just spent a few hundred dollars on some new computer gear and was wondering if my old 2.13 dual 2 core cpu will bottle neck the rest of my system especially the 8800gt. Here is what my new build will consist of:

CORSAIR CMPSU-750TX 750W
EVGA GeFORCE 8800GT 512MB
A-DATA VITESTA 4GB (2 X 2GB) DDR2 800
DFI LANPARTY DK P35-T2RS
WD CAVIAR 320GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0GB/S HD

and 2.13 dual 2 core cpu

i plan on upgrading to the 3.0 wolfdale core 2 duo in about a month or so but until then the 2.13 will have to do.

Also I was wonderng if anyone could make me a decent sig? Msg me if u can

I know with my old computer, which was pretty similar, a core 2 duo (e6300) running at 1.86ghz would bottle neck my computer... Counter strike source, for example, wouldn't run smoothing (in this case, locked at 60fps for vsync), when at stock speeds, but overclocking the chip to 2.8ghz was enough to keep the game at 60fps... so, I kinda assume it was bottle necking, at least that one game.

Even if that chips does bottle neck, a slight overclock would remove it, I'd think. At least, any bottle neck that you would notice.

No, I don't think it would be a bottleneck.
Do you have the model of the processor?

I don't think it will bottleneck. I easily OCed my E6420 up to 3.2GHz anyways.

It can OC to 3.2 and there will be no bottleneck to be found. The HDD is the bottleneck of any PC.

Well, the HDD is the bottleneck in 99% of systems.
Looking at what you have there, theres nothing that really jumps out as a "bottleneck"..... but your system is a fantastic candidate for overclocking...bump that processor up to 2.6 to 3.0GHz and you'll be fine until Nehalem hits the shelves..

I'd spend $30-40 and get a better Cooler....that would be a good investment and would get you a decent OC.
