|  Laptop LCD -> VGA hi everybody, i have a dead sony c1x laptop and i want to use its lcd in a pc project the lcd is sharp LQ089B1LS01 8.9" 1024*480 i did some search but couldnt find its connection type (ttl, lvds, etc) can somebody pls help me? and pls recommend a cheap controller board (i dont know what is it called) and cable/harness to connect it to vga, dvi, or svid (preferably vga) lcd back lcd front lcd connector 1 lcd connector 2 cable (lcd side) cable (lcd side) cable (MB side) there are two connectors which connect the lcd, camera, and mic as u see in the previous pic the laptop thnx in advance :) |

| F Ucn rd dis U mst uzUNIX |  Re: Laptop LCD -> VGA TravB never made it over here, did he? He's done some work on LCD's that surprisingly did really well. I'd have to look in other forums for some info. And I may be incorrect, but I think Reload found some LCD pinouts for him.   |
