Default How about someone suing the RIAA for a change?

Check it out here.

I've been quietly keeping tabs on things of this nature. This time though, the litigators may actually be on to something.

I've always been highly pissed off that a conglomerate of companies with a shared financial interest has been given damned near legal powers to interject their rights stealing agenda into our lives. The RIAA IS NOT a branch of our federal government although I'm sure they would like to be. However, they've been given transgression powers that greatly exceed anything the federal government can do as far as gathering information about you without a Judge giving a writ of discovery and information collecting.

Now we just have to see what this does to the RIAA. Let's hope some justice is brought to the table.

I hope they win, and the judicial system hammers the RIAA.

That's awesome. This is probably one of the first modern court cases (within the past 2-3 years) that I've seen that is actually a legitimate charge with a great cause

It's about time somebody stood up to these bullies. But do we have any hard evidence? All these link has is a list of charges they've been accused of.
