| I'm Evil | I'd dump the motherboard. If you are going with an ATI based card then why get an SLI board? If you are going to go ATI, get a Crossfire board. The DFI RDX200 CF-DR is a pretty good board. If you are going SLI, the DFI NF4 SLI-DR EXPERT is as good as there is.....look for our review shortly (this week). You list DDR2, which isn't supported by your system, or AMD processors (yet). So thats totally incompatible. Check out our recommendations pages for different options as far as hardware goes. The Raptor is a complete waste of money.....a generation ago, they were great HDD.... now, with SATA 2.5 it is rather outdated, small, and really no better than some much cheaper alternatives. As to the cooler, I've never cared for Zalman, cumbersome and ppor cooling..... they get a lot of play because they are pushed so much in Fatality set ups. If you are going air, consider the Thermalright XP90C or the XP-120, both very good air cooled solutions. | I second the XP-90C heatsink as well......it will be what I use for cooling soon (when I get some extra money to get it, for now I'm going to lap the stock HSF and live with it until I get that money)......you can't go wrong with a pure copper heatsink, very good choice for high-end air cooling IMO. Couple it with a Panaflo H1A or something from Delta, and you have a very powerful cooling solution :) |

| Should i use liquid cooling for the cpu? and which one would you reccomend? |

| I'm Evil | Depends upon your budget. For around $95 you can get the Cooler Master Aquagate mini-120, a pretty good cooling solution. i like that it fits every current socket on the market. I also like that it is a sealed system, which means no filling or maintainence. If you have a little more, Corsair is getting ready to release their Nautilus 500 cooler, which for $150 disipates 500W of heat (most liquid coolers in this price range dissipate anywhere from 200-250W). By disipating 500W you can later integrate waterblocks for your video card and chipset and still get good performance. If you have $200-300 you can go with a custom kit from PolarFlo or Danger Den, probabluyy the two best cooling companies out there. I've used products from both companies and found them to be very high quality. If you have an unlimited budget and want all out best cooling, I'd recommend the Koolance Exos-2. It dissipates 700W of heat, is an external set up, and has a full range of excellent water blocks. | the Nautilus is only $150?!?!?!?!? holy crap, that's a good deal for 500W of thermal dissipation........now I'm inclined to grab that system a little later down the line, as it's an integrated external system and it uses 3/8" tubing, a very good choice for the pump they're using IMO. |

| I'm Evil | looks pretty impressive.... hopefully they'll add additional blocks down the road, but even if they don't you should be able to add blocks as long as they are 3/8' tubing INTEL QX9650 ASUS P5E3 Premium 4GB DDR3-1600 Sapphire HD 3870X2 Danger Den Tower-26 (Custom W/C) 5 x Seagate 250GB HDD in RAID5 BFG ES 800W PSU |
