| I'm Evil | When the DIY (Do-It-Yourself) route of system building is not an option, where do you turn to for a custom built PC? For those with an almost unlimited budget and a penchant for a 24K gold plated chassis, there's a vendor out there for you. And of course there's Dell, if you don't mind proprietary upgrade restrictions and value loaded configurations in the form of bloatware. But for those looking for a DIY replacement with off-the-shelf components, CyberPower represents over two decades of experience in the PC world: "CyberPower, Inc. was founded with two simple goals in mind. It is to provide our customers with both personalized cutting edge technology at wholesales prices and an extensive range of technological support. By being the manufacturer and the distributor, we are dedicated to meet your personalized desires with the highest performance for all your gaming and digital media solutions." Today we're taking a look at CyberPower's upcoming Gamer Infinity 7500 base model priced at an affordable $999 with 17" LCD, or $849 without monitor. We were skeptical when first approached by CyberPower at how they could pull off a rig capable of a 'gaming' moniker at such a low price tag, but our skepticism turned fascination when peering over the spec sheet: CyberPower Gamer Infinity 7500 System Review INTEL QX9650 ASUS P5E3 Premium 4GB DDR3-1600 Sapphire HD 3870X2 Danger Den Tower-26 (Custom W/C) 5 x Seagate 250GB HDD in RAID5 BFG ES 800W PSU |

| I bet alot of those parts are actually proprietary, and with ads and contracts and such, that's probably what drove the price down. | I'm Evil | Theres nothing proprietary in there, it simply looks as if they buy in bulk, or have a contract guaranteeing so many orders INTEL QX9650 ASUS P5E3 Premium 4GB DDR3-1600 Sapphire HD 3870X2 Danger Den Tower-26 (Custom W/C) 5 x Seagate 250GB HDD in RAID5 BFG ES 800W PSU |

| There's nothing wrong with buying in bulk if it saves money. Non shipment of equipment speaks of a shoddy operation though and that would put me off to buying one right away. |

| I don't know how to put this, but, I'm kind of a big deal. | Everything in there is 'off-the-shelf', which also means it's as upgradeable as if you had purchased the parts and built it yourself. Bulk buying and contracts, as mentioned, play a big role in pricing, though I'm admittedly impressed that the savings can be that significant over a vendor like Newegg. |

| socket 939 junkie | great review my buddy purchased a system from them 3 years ago and had nothing but problems with his pc. constant shut downs ect. every time he sent it back they said they fixed the problem but when it returned to him he still had the same problems. hopefully they have since fixed their rma department. other than that their pc's are a great value Q6600 @ 3.6ghz (400x9 @ 1.408v) Gigabyte X38-DQ6 2x2GB G-Skill DDR2 1000 @ DDR2 1066 5-5-5-15 2T 2.1v Visiontek HD4870 Seagate 7200.11 500GB 32MB Cache HDD Razer Barracuda AC1 Silverstone DA750 Samsung Dual Layer DVD Burner Lian Li G70WB Thermochill PA120.3|Swiftech Storm Rev.2|Swiftech MCP 655 |
