Its like my personal Rice boy computer =D. A change from the Antec solo i was using.

Tried to be neat about it, but yeah so hard when the wiring is funky for the case. Still debatin what to do with the Heatsink/Fan since you see the huge NB on the board.

the infamous useless Zalmin Heatsink that i have on the southbridge lol. Honestly think the Fan on the 8800GTS is gonna suck that baby up

hard to get the pic to show since the light's not that bright from the fans, but i like it like that since i dont turn my PC off half the time at night.

Temp stuff is probably totally off, but oh well its entertaining =)

Basically the mess known as my desk. Yes thats The Orange box on the Table, GO TEAM FORTRESS 2!! lol

Thats bout it, i appologize if the pics are too big or if this is the wrong section =D Basically this was my 1st attempt at a mid->high end build, been buildin mostly family grade PCs.

looks like a great system... and that stock intel HSF should be fine until you need to overclock or decide to change it out.

Thanks HL and Corsair!

Congrats on the new rig Azi! A better HSF assembly would be a plus because that CPU just begs to be overclocked!

Very nice man, I've got that same Zalman chipset heatsink on one of my motherboards too, does a great job (when it doesn't interfere with a video card). How did you like working with that case?

If you get bored, you could always try and tidy up the wires and cables inside with some zip-ties or something...

Thanks for all the positive feedback
yeah i tried to tie it up lol.
but the wires are sometimes a bit short...and takes a little maneuvering.
also the HD bay i just got lazy and shoved the excess into it =D

Thats what I love about modular power supplies (now that I have one), less clutter...

You could also move your HDD into the middle of the drive cage so it gets more airflow around the top and bottom of the drive.

i actually stuck it on the bottom cause im usin the middle to pull the front panel audio through, only knock on the case is that HD Audio front panel connector is not long enough from the wrap around behind to reach my connector on the MB, could be just the Asus MB positioning, i can use normal AC97, but i instead threaded it through th HD cage.
Overall I like the case, more space than the Xion something (cheap 50 dollar case), Solo and Sonata I that my previous builds were.

Yep, modular PSU's are great... I have the Silverstone DA650W and it's awesome only using the wires you need. Makes cable management extremely easy!
