Like many elder (but not old!) geeks my age, this is where it all began, and I’m elated to see the Commodore branding hitting the headlines again, even if only by name. - Paul Lilly

I wwaaaaaaannnttt one!

I think they are being pessimistic about the boutique market. There are enough of us C64'ers kicking around that would buy one - even knowing they aren't really a C64 - just for nostalgia value.

Of course, with a twisted sense of humour such as mine, I could BS everybody and claim that it is really and truly an original C64, just with more memory added. :)

P4 2Ghz, soyo dragon2 mobo, 3x256 pc3200, radeon 9200 128Mb, pioneer 4x cd/dvd combo, 40G + 80G Hdds, pinnacle firewire, onboard sound, 35W psu

Pssst...'They' = Paul Lilly = One4yu2c = Me I'm heading up the News portion of MPC's Blogs, and that's a link to my CommodoreGaming write-up.

I'm hoping they carve a niche for themselves, and there's definitely enough nostalgia buffs around to give them a kickstart, if they decide to buy one.
