Good link Joker. The process can also be referred to as deleting temporary internet files or clearing cookies.

wow that page only goes to IE 5.X

IE6:
Tools -> Internet Options -> under the general tab there are 3 suggested buttons:
Delete Files, Delete Cookies and Delete history

IE7:
Tools -> Internet Options -> under the General tab there is a Delete... button, then on that one I usually suggest Delete All... in the next window.

FF2:
Tools -> Options -> Security area -> under Private Data click "Clear Now" and choose what you want to delete

Thanks HL and Corsair!

I think the easiest way is to use CCleaner. I don't care to leave any tracks behind (nothing to hide, but I do think what's on my computer is my business and no one else's) and CCleaner gets rid of everything (cookies, temporary files, passwords, history, etc.) in one click.
