asus p5Q deluxe audio error

Why when i put the setup cd that my motherboard bring it still everything but no the audio i get error?

Hmm whats the point of the screen shot of your system properties?

Are you running the vista or XP setup?
Try downloading the drivers from asus.

make sure it's enabled in the bios.

I'm guessing you need another audio driver, something like the uaa hd bus driver, to install first... comes up with laptops alot in my experience, but not with desktops.

This is what I'm talking about Universal Audio Architecture (UAA) High Definition Audio class driver version 1.0a available for Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, and Windows 2000 .

Either that, or something like it's disabled in bios would be my guess.

Might even want to try just downloading the drivers from the asus website instead of using the cd, or running windows update first.

i just checked i think. it say HD audio anable .

i download that but it only have xp sp 1 and 2. no 3

Get this hotfix. Reboot, then install driver.

Edit: Ah buran took care of it. Don't worry, SP3 is not very different than SP2. Grab the SP2 one.

That's your problem then, your bios isn't in English. It should be enabled.
