| No Sanity, no problem. | I got to start buying my new PC last month, so far I have: Ultra Blue Aluminus ATX Mid-Tower Case with Ultra X2 550-Watt Power Supply ASUS P5N32-SLI Premium/WiFi-AP ATX Intel Motherboard OCZ 1GB (2 x 512MB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory (only 1 kit for now) XFX GeForce 7900GT PVT71GUQF3 Video Card And to top it of when I can afford it: Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 2.4GHz LGA 775 Processor Comments on build (good or bad) are very appreciated. Just remember I was on a 1k budget (which I broke a bit because I missed out on the deal for my case -_-). In the fall I'll get a second gig of RAM and a second card for SLI. LET IT BE KNOWN!: I'm not very positive about DX10 gaming or cards yet, so don't bother telling me I should have gotten on. ^^ Asus P5N32-SLI SE Delux Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 XFX Nvidia GeForce 7900GT OCZ Gold 1Gig (2x512) PC2 6400 Ultra Aluminum Blue Full Tower ATX Case Ultra Connect X 2 Wire Modular 550w PSU |

| Colonel Calamity | looks good so far... the main reason I didn't buy the cpu, memory, video card and mobo early was in case something was bad since I had no way to test them at the time. ![]() Thanks HL and Corsair! My opinions are my own and not representative of this site or its members. |

| No Sanity, no problem. | I was going to go E6400 until I saw how powerful the 6600 was in HLs own review. For RAM, I simply looked at everyone sig here until i found something respectable, cuz I wasn't sure what to buy, and it was with in my price range. The case and GPU where in a combo pack for a mear 109, but my dad wanted to pitch in and ended up ordering it to late. lol. My budget for the vid card was origonaly 250, and 180 for mobo, but I dropped 30 to the mobo instead so I could pull the SLI Gamer off. Thus leaving me with a GT instead of a GTX, which is still a very respectable card. I'm ordering the proc as I type this. Everything else is already put together, sitting on my kitchen table right now. | Colonel Calamity | newegg is funny with their shipping... some orders such as monday morning are at your house by wednesday evening yet others are there a week later depending on when it gets pulled... I ordered mine Tues night and it wasn't picked until Wed night so 3 day = Monday (today)... they go by business days ![]() Thanks HL and Corsair! | No Sanity, no problem. | Ok, had a shipping problem, I gave newegg my POBOX address instead of my home addresss (which, the two are literly 20 feet appart because the post office is connected to this appartment building, lol) and instead of UPS throwing it on a truck just incase I called them to tell them how to get it to me, they locked it in the basement. I had to go a near by town to get it, brought it home, assembled the whole thing, worked out the kinks and got everything running. I am so very very happy with it so far. Expect a few reviews from me detailing the Case, CPU, and GFX Card in the near future, In the mean time, I'm going to see how many FPS RSV runs :P Asus P5N32-SLI SE Delux Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 XFX Nvidia GeForce 7900GT OCZ Gold 1Gig (2x512) PC2 6400 Ultra Aluminum Blue Full Tower ATX Case Ultra Connect X 2 Wire Modular 550w PSU |
