I've taken these tests before and they vary quite a bit depending on which place you take them at.

Also when you take them. Big difference if you take the test at 2 in the morning than at 5 at night.

I just tested mine right now (almost midnight) from the Los Angeles server on my DSL line, and got:

2511 kbps download
306 kbps upload

I tested it again, to see how much it would change: (hardly at all)
2512 D/L
304 U/L
