Boo Hoo, it's about the same price as my cable modem with a higher download speed... I worry that the upload speed may be less than what I have now, but it doesn't really matter as you can see:

I talked with several Verizon Reps and they are moving fast to spread fiber.... Still they are mainly offering it to new homes being built, and in areas that are majority wealthy folks. Hell I have had VErizon 3mbps DSL for 5 years, and even with a business account they cannot get me 7mbps. And I live in a developed area, 20 minutes from Philadelphia. Not holding my breath.

Fiber? Only 20mbps? Thats pretty saddening when I can get 15down/2up cable for that same price, and not have to pay money to have fiber installed in my house. I'll consider fiber once they hit 50-75mbps

i used to have Fios and they downgraded me to DSL due to unavailability in my new apt...

let me tell you, i can see the difference between my brother's optimum cable versus my previous Fios, its a lot fater than cable... and besides its $5 more from crappy DSL with a huge difference in speed...

i was a satisfied fios costumer. i hate VERIZON DSL...

lol
i was just showing this because not everyone, like myself, can get cable internet, tv, or phone, (all that's available here is antenna, inflated satellite, and verizon DSL, also dial up but no point...)
we would have cable, but the closest anything gets is comcast, and the closest house to me that can get it is 20mins away.
don't want to run a couple-mile lan cable from there to here lol.
but FiOS will be available here soon, and my whole house is rigged with fiber = ]
since we're already verizon customers, i hope the switch will be painless.

That ad is really deceiving, for reals it more like 180 bucks a month for those speeds they claim, bastards. . .
