Default Switched to FireFox

I switched to firefox a few days ago and the tabbed browsing takes some getting use to. I keep wanting to click the go back button or X the whole thing out especially when I'm doing e-mail. Whats the difference between firefox 1.5 and 2.0 and have all you firefox users switched to 2.0?

I don't get MaxPC so I guess I'll have to look around.I know it's a dollar a month and I might subscribe again but I'm not a big mag fan.

FF 2.0 for sure. In the initial window, use Ctrl T to open a new tab. Then, all you have to do is click next to the open tab up top and a new tab will pop up.

Here's my list of currently installed plugins:

Foxy Tunes Adds a tool bar to the right hand portion of your browser. Allows you to control your music without minimizing your browser. Uses your default music player to play music.

FireFTP This is a new one I just installed today. I like it better than CoffeeCupFTP. Once installed, just go to tools-FireFTP. Just close the window it opens for donations and your FTP is right there. Add new account, like HardwareLogic's for reviews, and you're good to go. The donations page only opens once. Following FTP openings do not produce the donations tab.

StumbleUpon If you like clicking on one button and being presented with a random website, this plugin is fun and you'll enjoy it. I've "stumbled" onto a lot of cool web sites using this one.

AdBlock Plus This one allows you to remove adds that you don't care to see on web pages. blocks a lot of pop-ups automatically, but if one gets through, you can add it to the blocker. Also, if you go to a web page on a regular basis, and you hate having the ad banners load, you can get rid of them too!

Easy Gestures I like this one better than the one that others here have linked to.

Check out Rich's thread on extensions for Firefox here. I just remembered he had put this thread up not to long ago, so some of the ones I've linked to are in his thread as well.

To manage your plug-ins, all you have to do is open a FF window, look up top for the Tools drop down menu. Once there, click on Add-Ons. There, you can control the settings, uninstall or disable any of the add-ons you've installed.
